Does DunsRoot run my personal credit?
No. Every program operates against your business EIN — DUNS number, Experian Business, and Equifax Business profiles. We never pull your consumer FICO, and we never require a personal guarantee for the vendor accounts in our network. Your personal report stays untouched.
What is a DUNS number and why do I need one?
The Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) is the nine-digit identifier Dun & Bradstreet assigns to your LLC. Banks, suppliers, government contractors, and most net-30 vendors check D&B before extending credit. Without a DUNS, your business is effectively invisible to the commercial credit system. Every DunsRoot program starts by securing one.
How fast does my business start showing credit?
Quickstart begins reporting within 7 days of EIN verification. Foundation typically lands the first three reporting accounts inside 14 days. Builder and Funded clients see their first PAYDEX score from D&B by day 35 — the bureau needs three to five trade references to issue an initial score, which is exactly why our vendor-placement model is fast.
Are vendor tradelines the same as authorized-user lines on personal credit?
Different category entirely. The accounts DunsRoot places — Uline, Quill, Grainger, Crown Office, Summa Office Supplies, Wise Business Plans, and 39 others — open in your LLC's name, against your EIN, and report to D&B / Experian Business / Equifax Business. They never touch your consumer report or anyone else's.
Is this credit repair? Do I need to register as a CRO?
No to both. CROA and every state credit-services-organization law govern services targeted at consumer credit. DunsRoot operates exclusively on business credit profiles, which fall outside that regulatory regime. No CRO registration is required, no bond, no waiting period for service delivery.
What if my LLC is brand new with no revenue?
Most clients start that way. The vendor accounts in the Foundation tier approve based on EIN, business banking history (we set that up), and trade references — not annual revenue. Builder adds Experian / Equifax Business reporting, which is what lenders eventually check when you apply for cards and lines.
How is DunsRoot different from Nav or Credit Suite?
Nav is a monitoring dashboard — useful, but you still do the vendor placements yourself. Credit Suite is a course with vendor lists. DunsRoot is the only program that places the vendor accounts for you, prepares the fundability profile, and (in the Funded and Elite tiers) introduces you to underwriters who pull from D&B. We deliver the outcome, not the toolkit.
What's the refund policy?
Full refund within 14 days if no vendor accounts have been placed yet. After placements begin, we refund any program where the delivered work doesn't match what's listed on the program page. Service-tier components (strategy calls, lender intros) are non-refundable once delivered because the labor's been performed. Detailed in our Refund Policy page.
Can I pay with crypto?
Yes. BTC, ETH, USDC, and XMR are all accepted at checkout. The Stripe Crypto Onramp option lets you pay with a debit or credit card too — Stripe handles the conversion and delivers the equivalent to our wallet. Identical to TradelineRise's flow.
Do you work with international LLCs or only US entities?
DunsRoot is US-only for now. We rely on D&B's domestic reporting + the US net-30 vendor network. International business-credit systems (Companies House in the UK, etc.) work differently and we don't want to ship something we can't deliver on.
